Q:  Where is LMP located?

A:  Our main office and studio are located in Young Harris, GA.  We will soon open our satellite offices in Clayton, GA and in Highlands, NC. However, we are happy to travel to all surrounding cities, including Hiawassee; Blairsville; Dahlonega; Dawsonville; Blue Ridge; Clayton; Highlands, NC; Cashiers, NC; Franklin, NC; Asheville, NC; north Atlanta; nationally; and abroad (especially for destination weddings).  Due to an irregular schedule with bookings in different areas at different times each week, we are in the office irregular hours, but do check email and voicemails regularly throughout each day.  Our studio is open by appointment only.  Please contact us via our ‘Contact LMP’ links to schedule a time to come into the studio and for directions to the studio.


Q:   When should I book my photography?

A:  At LMP, we are fortunate to work with many venues, many schools, and many business clients.  Therefore, we do book up quickly.   Some months are more popular than others. April-June and September-November are generally the busiest months for photographers, especially with weddings and high school seniors, and are booked about a year in advance.   Please be sure to contact us as soon as you know you'd like to book your date via the appropriate ‘Contact LMP’ links above before someone else gets your date!


Q:  What forms of payment does LMP accept / what is your payment policy?

A:  At Lindsey McIntyre Photography, we are happy to accept cash, check, money order, or credit / debit (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
We ask for a deposit of 1/3 to reserve the date and time of your photography session.  For models, portraits, high school seniors, and commercial work, the remaining 2/3 balance is due at the time of your photography session.  For weddings and events, the remaining 2/3 balance is due no later than two weeks prior to your event date.


Q:  What does ‘Archival’ mean and why is it so important?

A:  Albums and framed photographic prints make amazingly beautiful and sentimental gifts for your children or grandchildren.  But, unless your photographs are printed and preserved with archival materials, you won't be able to save your memories.  With all of our prints, albums, portfolios, and frames, you can rest assured of the quality and preservation abilities of your investments. 
The term 'archival' means that your prints will stay true to color and to texture for decades.  Unlike drugstore printing or home printing, our high-quality materials will not fade  or crack for decades when kept under proper conditions (away from direct heat and excessive sunlight).
Archival materials have a neutral or slightly alkaline pH, meaning that they don't contain the acidity of everyday papers that can quickly age and deteriorate your photographic memories. 
We use only the highest-quality materials because we love what we do and we want you to have a cherishable investment to view and share for a lifetime.
Our 100% archival products are made to be kept and treasured for generations to come. 


Q:  What are LMP’s quality standards and credentials?
A:  With Lindsey McIntyre Photography, you can rest assured that you will be getting the highest quality of product available, and that anything Lindsey puts her name on is something to be very proud of.
We use all archival materials.  We have our prints and card products created at one of the top professional printers in the country.  We have our high-grade leather and silk albums and portfolios hand-crafted by very experienced and detail-oriented artisans.  We have all of our framing custom-made by Atlanta's top professional custom framers.
In addition, LMP belongs to top industry organizations such as GPPA (the Georgia Professional Photographers Association) as well as the national PPA (Professional Photographers of America): the most highly-acclaimed photographers' association world-wide. GPPA and PPA both hold extremely high standards for their photographers in regards to quality, professionalism, ethics, training, education, artistry, and workmanship.
